Loudmouth Al Franken conveniently “forgets” to pay his employees’ workers compensation insurance for three years

Former comedian turned political attack dog turned Senate candidate and, now, hypocrite, Al Franken has been fined for his continued failure to pay workers compensation insuance for his employees. This is not the first time that he has defied state laws requiring him to carry the necessary coverage.
Not only did Franken “forget” to pay workers’ comp insurance in New York, where the transgression occurred, but he also neglected to provide disability benefits insurance in the state.
Of course, the self-avowed Liberal would be the first one to lambaste a Republican or Conservative who did so much as not acquire mandated automobile insurance coverage, or professional liability coverage. But in the case of providing workers comp insurance for the common man — workers who belong to unions or who are paid an hourly wage — well, Franken somehow appears to believe that he should be given a pass.
And now that Franken is running for one of Minnesota’s U.S. Senate seats, transgressions such as these show how hypocritical Franken is; he skewers public figures with whom he disagrees politically with vile and vulgar language, yet in this case of his own illegal deeds he has remained completely silent. He will not address the issue in public, to the press or on his website.
Franken is the sort of political candidate who would do the most harm to this country. He sets a double standard for himself, sees tax increases as the answer to all problems, and makes noises about others but wants everyone to ignore his own actions, even when such actions are in defiance of the law.
This is one instance when the author of such books as “Rush Limbaugh Is A Big Fat Idiot” and “Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right” should open his big fat mouth and explain why he has lied and broken the law.
